Let me move mountains

I’ve been playing this live for years, for those of you who’ve been to shows in the past two years you’ve seen my baby grow from a timid sweet song to a soul opening ballad.

When I started writing it, it was about a boy, but then it slowly grew to be about a place, about anyone, about an idea.

As I was working on its delicate production my brother started transferring old videos of my talented grandparents’ adventurous nature. I came across one that blew me away - that’s the video. I knew it in my heart. My movie star grandmother climbing a mountain and glimpses of my grandfather and their friends, there was no question.

As we recorded it in Jonathan’s studio and I was debating which version to keep my grandmother passed away at 97.

Let me move mountains became her song.

Europe, see you this fall
